Angela is excited and also very grateful to be a marriage celebrant as it enables her to utilise the diverse skills that she has developed over the years from both her professions as a teacher and law graduate. These include the legals, writing personalised wedding scripts and public speaking, as well as the ability to adapt to any surprises that may present themselves leading up to and during the ceremony.
Fortunately, Angela having a legal background ensures that the legal requirements of your marriage are met without any stress, as she is thorough and well versed in the relevant marriage laws. Teaching also equips her with the important virtues essential for a marriage celebrant such as patience, respect, inclusion and the sheer awe of connecting with others. Although she does not claim to be an expert on marriage, Angela may know a thing or two about it, as she has been happily married for more years than she has been single.
